Crime Report for Ashfield South week to 15 March 2018

Crimes reported over the past fourteen days.

 
Burglary Dwelling.

Between 10.30 am on Monday 12 and 6.40am Tuesday 13 March in Belvoir Street, Hucknall an insecure house was entered via the back door and 2 laptop computers were stolen. A garden shed was also broken into and a white Decathlon bike stolen.

 

Burglary Other

Between 10am and 11am on Sunday 11 March in Olympus Court, Hucknall an insecure house was entered and a car in the garage was searched but nothing was stolen.

 

Overnight of the 10/11 March at the allotment gardens in Broomhill Road, Hucknall a caravan and a shed were broken into and some hand tools, shears, a paring knife and 3 aerosol gas canisters were stolen.

 

At approximately 5am on Monday 5 March in Goodhall Crescent, Hucknall a shed was broken into and the lock stolen.

 

Overnight of the 7/8 March in Salmon Lane, Annesley Woodhouse a property was entered and a Vauxhall Vectra and 2 generators were stolen.

 

Between 10pm on Wednesday 7 and 6am Thursday 7 March in Salmon Lane, Annesley Woodhouse a garage was broken into and a welder and a gas tank were stolen.

 

Between 4.45pm and 10pm on Tuesday 13 March in Royal Oak Drive, Selston a shed was broken into and a red and black Go Go Mobility scooter and 2 Adidas bags containing some football gear were stolen.

 

Theft of a Vehicle.

 The only vehicle stolen is the one listed above from Salmon Lane.

Between 2.50pm and 3.20pm on Thursday 8 March in Middlebrook Road. Bagthorpe a car window was smashed to gain entry and bag containing a purse, cash and bank cards were stolen.

 

Overnight of the 8/9 March in Osborne Close, Hucknall a vehicle was entered and some cash stolen.

 

At 2.25am on Sunday 11 March in Spitfire Way, Hucknall an attempt was made to enter two vehicles parked on a driveway.

 

At 2.25am on Sunday 11 March in Spitfire Way, Hucknall a car parked on a driveway was entered, nothing was taken.

 

At 2.25am on Sunday 11 March in Spitfire Way, Hucknall a Vauxhall Caddy van was entered, nothing was taken.

 

At 2.23am on Sunday 11 March in Lovesey Avenue, Hucknall a car was entered and searched, nothing was taken.

 

At 2.23am on Sunday 11 March in Lovesey Avenue, Hucknall two vehicles parked on a driveway were entered and searched, nothing was taken.

 

At 2.40am on Sunday 11March in Canberra Crescent, Hucknall a vehicle was entered, nothing was taken.

 

At 2.40am on Sunday 11 March in Canberra Crescent, Hucknall a vehicle was entered, nothing was taken.

 

Overnight on the 10/11 March in Mustang Close, Hucknall a vehicle was entered, nothing was taken.

 

Between 11.30pm on Saturday 10 and 7am Sunday 11 March in Polperro Way, Hucknall the glass was removed from a wing mirror.

 

Between 8.05am and 6pm on Wednesday 14 March at the Hucknall Tram Stop both number plates were stolen from a blue Audi.

 

INFORMATION.

A recent crime trend is for thieves to break into vehicles and steal Dash Cams. We would therefore advise that if you have this equipment fitted in your vehicle to remove where possible especially when the vehicle is left unattended  for long periods and during the hours of darkness. There have been cases in Mansfield recently
