April 2018 Leen area update

Hello residents

 

I am writing to let you know about crime in the Leen Police Beat area during April 2018.

 

We have had 5 burglaries on Radford Boulevard entry gained via locked gate leading to insecure basement tools taken, 2 of which on Lonsdale Road forced entry to kitchen window TV and clothes taken, the other entry gained via insecure upstairs window, 2 of which on Brixton Road entry gained via insecure window phone and camera taken, the other forced entry to window rucksack containing phone, umbrella and glasses case taken.

 

We have had 3 reports of theft from/of motor vehicle on Hartley Road, Croydon Road and Midland Retail Park.

 

We have had 6 offences of Criminal Damage on Churchfield Lane, Hartley Road, 2 of which on Glentworth Road and 2 of which on Midland Way.

 

We have had 4 reports for theft of bicycle from outside Exercise4less, on Castle Retail Park, Radford Nursery and Denman Street Central.

 

We have had 3 reports of robbery on Hopedale Close wallet stolen, Norwood Road money and bank card stolen and attempt theft of dog on St Peters Church churchyard.

 

We have had no reports of garage or shed break.

 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK YOUR VEHICLES AND REMOVE ITEMS FROM WITHIN
