Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

Dear Citizen,

I am writing to to all of our registered Neighbourhood Watch scheme coordinators, members and those that expressed an interest in learning more about Neighbourhood Watch in our public perception survey in June.

We would like to provide you with free training in community engagement to support and enable your existing or future role in your own neighbourhood.  This is on Tuesday 2nd October in Dunkirk, Nottingham.

We need people, passionate about making their community a better place, to meet with, not just their immediate neighbours but extend into their local community. Whether you call it Neighbourhood Watch or cohesive society, we want to help to give you the skills to succeed in community engagement.

During this workshop, in partnership with Notts County Council's Communities team, we will introduce the foundations of community organising including genuine, effective listening which sparks dialogue and explores motivations.  This is an accredited course and participants will receive a CPD certificate.

What to do if you are interested:

If this concept excites you, please register to join us on Tuesday 2 October. We will provide a free lunch plus refreshments.  To see more details about this free workshop and register to attend click here

Finally:

Want to know more about the online scheme management tools available to Multi-Scheme-Administrators (MSAs)?  Watch this video of experienced MSA John Duke explaining what the role is and what tools are available.
