Crime Report for Ashfield South week to 8 February2018

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling.

On Wednesday 17 January in West Street, Hucknall an attempted burglary was made on a property but nothing was stolen.


Between 10am and 11.15am on Friday 2 February in Alfreton Road, Underwood a property was entered via a damaged conservatory door. The offenders were disturbed by the alarm activation. Nothing was stolen.


Overnight of the 5/6 February in Nottingham Road, Hucknall car keys were believed stolen through the letter box.


Burglary Other

Between 10pm on Wednesday 31 January and 7.30am Friday 1 February in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall a shed was broken into and a black Carrera pushbike was stolen.


Around 2pm on Wednesday 7 February in Plainspot Road, Underwood a property was entered but nothing was stolen.


Between 5pm and 11pm on Wednesday 31 January in Fishers Street, Annesley Woodhouse some garden gates were forced open and some ladders stolen from the back garden.


Overnight of the 5/6 February in Long Hill Rise, Hucknall a shed was broken into and a Scott mountain bike and a Ribble Prime Road Bike were stolen.


Theft of a Vehicle.

There were no reported vehicles stolen for this period.


Theft from a Vehicle.

Between 5.30pm on Saturday 3 and 7.30am Monday 5 February in Willow Drive, Sherwood Industrial Estate 8 batteries were stolen from 4 vehicles together with some electrical cable.


Between 9.30am and 5pm on Friday 2 February in Nottingham Road the front number plate was stolen from a VW Golf.


Overnight of the 30/31 January in Palmerstone Street, Underwood a White Ford Transit van was broken into and 2 battery drills were stolen.



Around midday on Tuesday 6 February in Forest Road, Annesley Woodhouse a white transit type van stopped and its three occupants removed bags of scrap metal from outside a property without permission.


Between the 2 and 7 of February in Betts Avenue, Hucknall a gas meter was stolen from outside a property.
